The event, part of the American Heart Association’s Go Red campaign, highlighted the prevalence of cardiovascular disease—the leading cause of death for women in the U.S. Megan Shilling, a 2025 Woman of Impact nominee, shared her personal journey with heart disease, emphasizing the importance of self-advocacy and early detection.
