Alexandria Rehab Launches First Certified Stroke Recovery Program

Alexandria Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center has launched a new Stroke Recovery Program, the first of its kind in the region, and is the first skilled nursing facility in Virginia to earn the American Heart Association’s Stroke Rehabilitation Certification. Led by a PM&R specialist, the program offers customized care to help stroke survivors regain physical and cognitive function. This initiative is part of Alexandria’s commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care and coincides with ongoing multi-million-dollar renovations at the center.
